Is Reformer Pilates safe for my child?
Yes — Reformer Pilates is exceptionally safe and beneficial for young people when taught by a qualified instructor. The spring-resistance system is low-impact and gentle on growing joints, making it ideal for children and teenagers.
Our Teens Reformer Pilates classes are suitable for ages 12 and over, with a focus on improving posture, core strength, coordination, and body awareness. This is particularly beneficial for young people involved in sport or those who spend long hours at a desk.

What should my child wear and bring to a class?
Please have your child wear comfortable, flexible clothing they can move freely in — leggings or shorts and a t-shirt are ideal.
Grip socks are essential for all Reformer classes for both safety and hygiene. We have a selection available to purchase at the studio for £15. Your child should also bring a water bottle — all other equipment is provided.
What pricing options does Sano Studio offer for kids and teens strength, conditioning classes and mat & reformer Pilates classes?
At Sano Studio, our kids’ strength and conditioning classes are offered in structured blocks, but we also welcome £10 drop-in participants upon prior email confirmation.
Mat Pilates and Teen Reformer classes are available as £10 drop-in sessions during the school term, and while initial booking for these classes must be made by a parent, teens can manage ongoing bookings independently on our fit by wix app.
