Sophie Newman
Yoga Teacher
Sophie started practicing yoga when she first moved to Edinburgh and immediately loved the sense of community she felt, especially in a new city where she didn’t know many people. Sophie had struggled for years to find movement that actually made her feel good, but by practicing yoga she has been able to align both physical and mental health - this mind-body connection has always been her favourite aspect of the practice.
Sophie undertook her yoga teacher training to deepen her understanding of the practice, but found in the process how much she loved teaching. Sophie is so excited to be able to share the knowledge that she has learnt and help others discover the strength and flexibility of both their body and mind at Sano.
