What to Expect from a Sano Studio Yoga Class

Our new timetable offers a variety of yoga styles, from gentle and restorative to more flowing vinyasa-inspired classes. Every session is led by experienced teachers who care deeply about making yoga accessible, safe and joyful.


You’ll be welcomed into our peaceful Morningside studio, where the lighting is soft, the energy is calm, and the mats are ready for you. We provide all the props (though you’re welcome to bring your own), and we always encourage you to listen to your body.

There’s no judgment here. Just movement, breath, and community.

FAQs – Yoga at Sano Studio


I’ve never done yoga before. Can I still come?

Yes, absolutely. Our classes are beginner-friendly, and our teachers are great at making modifications to suit all levels. You don’t need to be flexible or have any previous experience—we’ll meet you where you are. For the month of July we have a special ‘first for a fiver’ offer on our Beginners Yoga class, Wednesday's at 7.30pm use the code: “FiverYoga” to book *spots are limited


What should I wear?

Anything comfortable that allows you to move freely. Leggings, joggers, a vest or a t-shirt. No shoes needed—yoga is practised barefoot.


Do I need to bring a mat?

We provide mats and props in the studio, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.


What style of yoga do you teach?

We offer a range of class styles—from slow, mindful flows to more dynamic sequences. Some are focused on strength and movement, others more restorative and grounding. Check our timetable or drop us a message if you’d like help choosing the right class for you. We also have an offer on our Friday flow Yoga offering the first class free of charge! Use the code: “FreeFridayFlow” to book but again we have very limited free spots so be quick!


Can I join if I’m recovering from injury or managing pain?

In most cases, yes. Just let us know in advance and we’ll guide you towards the most suitable class and make sure your teacher is informed. We always encourage you to listen to your body and move in a way that feels good for you.
