Not only are our classes small but are a very inclusive studio and our expert instructors are always on hand throughout the class and happy to offer modifications to either increase or decrease the challenge depending on each individual’s fitness level and goals, we certainly don’t advocate a ‘one size fits all’ approach. How often should I practice Reformer Pilates during winter?
We suggest at least 2-3 times per week to achieve optimum and noticeable results. With the low impact nature of the exercises you can attend classes as often as you’d like but we prefer to offer individual guidance based around your own general weekly activity, please feel free to ask our expert instructors advice on what might be best for you when you attend a Reformer Pilates class at the studio. Not only does attending regularly allow for greater physical results but the mental health benefits are noticeably more pronounced too, you will feel happier, more positive and able to navigate negative thought patterns more effectively.
What should I wear to a Reformer Pilates class in winter?
We recommend warm comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. In winter the studio is always warm but we definitely recommend layers, you will get warm throughout the duration of the class but if you have a few layers you can adjust throughout the class as needed. Legging and long sleeve tops over winter are perfect. We also ask that you wear grip socks for your own warmth, safety and hygiene. We have a great range of grip socks which can be viewed in our online shop on our website and purchased at the studio when you attend or you are welcome to bring your own with you.
How do I start Reformer Pilates?
Sign up a member on our website, pick a class time to suit (we recommend beginners classes for those new to Sano Studio or new to Reformer Pilates Morningside), complete the relevant forms and simply click book.
